NVHS Password Reset and Recovery

Students now have the opportunity to manage their own passwords for their Indian Prairie School District accounts, including a process for password recovery.  
​ ​All students must do this process by Friday, April 28.

Step 1 - Computer login

If a student sees a message that their password has expired when they login to a district computer, proceed by clicking OK and you will be prompted to set a new password.  New password must follow these guidelines:

 After setting a new password at the login screen, proceed to the Single Sign-on (STEP 2) to complete the process:  https://sso.ipsd.org

Step 2 - Single Sign-on

Once logging in to the SSO,  you will either be prompted to:
  • "CLICK HERE to Change your Password" or to
  • Answer 6 Security Questions (See Step 3).
If the password change prompt is visible, click to change your password and follow the online process. You will then be directed to answer a series of security questions for the purpose of recovering your password should you need to do so.

Step 3 - Security Questions

When in the SSO, if you are first prompted to Answer 6 Security Questions, do so. When done, you will be sent to the Home Screen (below).

Once at the above Home Screen, click on Account (1) and then Change Password (2).  Follow the online process to set your new password.  

The Security Questions will now allow you access a forgotten password.
